BRICM aims to act as the national source of metrologically traceable Bangladesh Standard Reference Materials by following appropriate quality control procedures stated in the international standards ISO Guide 34, and by building partnerships with other regional and international metrology organizations.

These very specialized products and their certificates with stated uncertainty would be developed and disseminated to help the industries:

• Maintain appropriate quality
• Meet regulatory requirements
• Reduce product cost
• Fulfill audit clarification
