BRiCM is well-equipped with technical facilities and a highly controlled environment, including a (Class 100) clean area controlled by HVAC with HEPA, to meet the nation's demand and priority.

BRiCM serves to perform the functions of the National Reference Laboratory for testing agro-based products, food, water, drinks and beverages and pharmaceuticals, industrial wastes, biological samples, and many more. In the selected application fields, BRiCM has built its technical competency and acquired most of the state-of-the-art high precision primary analytical technologies, including but not limited to:
